The AAPQ. Supporting agencies. Leading the trend.

The Association of Quebec Advertising Agencies is committed to represent the interests of its members, to further the development of the industry and to provide the tools and working conditions necessary for the leaders of today and tomorrow.

The Association of Quebec Advertising Agencies has almost 60 members, who generate more than 80 % of the advertising agency business in Quebec.

It was created in 1988 by 13 agency presidents who felt the need to unite, mostly to defend their interests in the government agency selection process issue.

Today, the AAPQ meets the following objectives:

    • Defend, promote and represent the interests of Quebec advertising agencies to government bodies, businesses, specific media or media associations, unions, consumer protection associations and other organizations in the communications field, in Canada and abroad;
    • Contribute to improvement in the quality of advertising;
    • Raise the public's awareness of the important role of advertising agencies;
    • Establish and define for its members a code of ethics governing the various advertising agencies operating in Quebec so as to improve their professional relations with other parties involved
